"If there's a crisis, you don't freeze, you move forward. You get the rest of us to move forward because you've seen worse, and you know we'll survive too. You say you're all dark and twisty. That's not a flaw; that's a strength. It makes you who you are. I love you and I want to spend the rest of my life with you." - Derek Sheperd, Grey's Anatomy. • Through highs and lows, Atikah and Ghalib made it through the rain. Congrats once again!! • MUA & Bridal: @nawwarahbridal • More sneaks in my story! #NAxMG
No babies were harmed in the making of this photo. PS: Please don't try this at home 😂
After five years of marriage and kids, it's easy to get complacent in the relationship. Sali approached me about six months ago, planning his fifth wedding anniversary to Aida even though it is never his thing to suggest a photo shoot. From coordinating outfits, getting the makeup artist and planning the surprise, I made sure this was the photo shoot Aida won't forget. • "You've got to play your cards right. Cannot do this every year then she'll expect you to do something big each anniversary. She's the mother of my kids and I want to make her happy once in a while." • Makeup and hijab styling by @norasahari.
When you agree to be together for life, you agree to grow together too. Even if one party is ahead of the other in life, you must accept it as an opportunity to better yourself and grow, so that your love too, will grow deeper. Love is never rainbows and butterflies, but compromise truly moves you along. • Congratulations Syafiq and Filzah, and thank you for a beautiful day. • More sneaks on my stories!
In Islam, the act of kissing an elder's hands is a mark of respect, love and utmost endearment. A short duration is allocated at the start of the wedding reception for the newlyweds to salam their parents or guardians so as to bless the reception as well as the marriage. It is also an intimate moment between the parents and the couple to impart wise words in their new journey as husband and wife. Traditions are practiced for reasons beyond our own rationality, but most times, traditions exist simply to keep families together.
Over the last few months, I've been constantly telling myself that each and every person has a different love story. The trials and tribulations we face are unique to us. While most of us dream of marrying a six foot handsome Prince Charming, love sometimes comes in small packages. Hanna and Fathu's love story reminds tall girls like me that love really does come unexpectedly. To have and to hold To cherish and honor To love and call my very own To share all I am with you Body, heart and soul You are mine as I am yours To have and to hold
You never really know when love comes knocking at the door. Most of the time, it comes when you have to scramble for a towel to be used as a hijab. 😂 Congratulations Firdaus and Atikah on your blessed nuptials! [More sneaks on my story!]

For most of us, a father is the first man a daughter loves. Daddy's girl, mommy's boy they say. It's not easy for a father to let go of his daughter and pass the responsibility of taking care of his girl to another man. I've seen some fathers get too emotional during the nikah they decide to let the Kadi do the nikah on their behalf. • For the fatherless, say a little prayer for them. Even in their absence, they have shaped you to be the man or woman you are now. • Happy Fathers' Day to you dads out there.
Tomorrow night, we welcome the blessed month of Ramadhan. As my peers and I in the wedding industry take a break from shooting joyous matrimonial celebrations, I hope this Ramadhan brings barakah to each and everyone of you. Time for me to rest and send them cameras a much needed spa session! Ramadhan Mubarak everyone! • PS: The couple in this picture is going thru their labour right now and I would very much appreciate if you extended a prayer for them as they welcome a new member of the family.
Families have always been a favourite of mine to shoot. I get to see how alike the daughters are to their fathers, or the sons to the mothers. I get to photograph the interactions of young parents to their first borns, letting them cherish the photographs for years to come. I get to soak in all the warmth and love children could possibly receive from their parents. Family photoshoots give me all the warm and fuzzies. • This May and June, allow me to photograph your beautiful families and you’ll receive a framed photograph for you to display at home in time for Eid. Since Ramadan this year falls during the June holidays, make it a family activity for your young ones to enjoy. • Plus, you’ll be entitled to a makeover by the ladies of @ishqbynorazee so you’ll look your best for the shoot. And if you bring your mother or sister along, she gets a makeover too! The first 5 sign ups get a 10% discount too, so drop me an email or click on the direct link on my profile if you’d like to spend some quality time with your family.

You'll know it when you know - that's what everyone tells me when it comes to love and marriage. These two knew and made it happen. Here's to a blessed marriage, Nadhira and Ali! [More sneaks in my story!]
Sometimes, you really just have to take the leap of faith and trust the process. Let go, and let God.
